On the day of your event, one or more trucks (dependent on event size) will arrive at the location with 300-pound blocks of ice. A separate pickup truck will arrive with the snowblower.
The trucks will remain on the pavement as the ice is fed into the blower, transformed into powdery snow, and hosed onto a designated area. A large play area will turn into a winter wonderland in about an hour or less!
That depends! Although our snow is designed for all seasons, many factors will impact how long that snow will last.
These factors include the number and size of the people who play in the snow and the temperature and humidity. On average, snow can be used between 4 and 6 hours, and some ice will remain on the ground on the morning following your event.
We have used Snow Pros for two different birthday parties now and could not be happier with the result! They are professional and courteous during booking and set-up, and the sledding and snow play is always a blast. Last summer we had a sledding party during one of the warmest weekends of the year and called it Snow boots and Swimsuits and kids were going back and forth from the pool to the sledding. To say it was the most unique and quintessentially SoCal birthday party is an understatement! I was concerned about the snow holding up with the extreme heat, but we threw up a couple easy ups for shade and were still able to sled the next day! I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. It’s something everyone will remember forever!

Snow Pros was an excellent choice for the City of Montclair. Their level of service, from communication to the day of the event with set-up and cleanup, was just on point, especially with this being our first snow event. Nathan from the start was very communicative in my emails and sending me samples from other cities and more. He also ensured that hay bales were included in our order, a stop shop was key for us. Day of the event, all the staff were on time and worked quickly to ensure we had time to set the snow with some decorations. Overall, it was a great experience working with Snow Pro, Inc. We look forward to next year’s Holly Jolly Holiday & Tree Lighting Ceremony.
We have had SnowPros come and create a winter wonderland in our backyard two years in a row now and it is magical fun for all ages! We had gatherings catered to middle schoolers both times, but neighborhood kids of all ages enjoyed the snow! The teens had a blast, of course, and the snow lasted for 3-4 days and we had days of fun, ending in a snow ball fight! Nathan and his crew are professional and helpful and kind. They even helped protect our family pets while they were setting up both years! I highly recommend this company and service - it has been so fun! We had a Mega 2 lane slide and play areas- amazing!!!
